Michael Dresser: composer, lyricist, scriptwriter
Michael studied drama at the University of Hull. His first musical, ‘One More Kiss’, was nominated for the Vivien Ellis Award and was included in The Guardian’s end of year round up of best theatre for that year. His original musical Marilyn was developed by Greenwich Theatre, London and was subsequently developed further and produced at the Brighton Festival. His most recent musical Moving On is being developed in 2010 at the Lowry Theatre, Manchester. His work, described by Time Out as “immediately memorable”, also includes incidental music and standalone songs, and has been heard across the UK, London and the West End.
